We are an FA Chartered Standard Community football club, and our motto is providing a safe and enjoyable environment where children can play football.
Poulton Town FC is an umbrella Club for many teams from grass roots to adult football.
Grass Roots or Mini Soccer
Grass roots or mini-soccer is where we begin our football , we have a saturday morning training sesssion for all U-8's. The only criteria is the children have to be 5 years old.
Whilst there is no competitive league for this AGE group in line with the Football association guidelines, the U-8's have competed in tournaments and played friendly games.
Next stage is playing football in the Poulton & District Primary league.
U-9
U-10
All matches are 7-a-side and there are two teams for each AGEgroup, all games aare played on a saturday morning.The division has twelve teams and play each other twice a season home and away.
They also participate in two cup competitions.
U-11 to U-16
Poulton Town U-11 to U16 play in the Central Lancs League.
This league is one of the best in the country, it is well run and provides our children with ample of potential to play against some very good teams. The teams are all located in and around Preston, Chorley and Leyland
All games are normally played on Sunday with the kick-off times varying.
Poulton Girls (U-16) team play in the LFA Girls league, this team have been together from the AGE of 12
