Poulton Town U-10's were formed at the beginning of May 2007 with only 6 players on the playing squad.
Steve advertised for players in May and promptly organised several training sessions.
Bythe end of May we were 11 in numbers and growing.
Some of the Players had never played football before and were enjoying the training and the practise matches.
June 2007

Training was going well and we were growing in numbers. we were now getting 14 players to training and the team were starting to bond together.
Summer 2007

During the summer holidays we were up to 15 players and everyone started to get to kow each other.
Registration started and we had 18 registered by the end of August.
Shay our secretary organised three friendlies which were agianst Squires Gate, Warton and Fc rangers.
We lost all three but it was excellent test for the players.
September 2007

As september started and th e players went back to school we started getting upwards of 24 players for training.
as the league only permits 5 subs per game I was limited to 24 players.
I have 23 players registered some of which are under 9.
My aim is to ensure that all my players get at least 15 mins playing every week, which I have achieved every week through Squad rotation.
