A game where luck was not on our side today. It didn’t start well when our home pitch was declared unplayable which meant a hectic reorganisation to find another pitch at short notice. Tom fell awkwardly and had to come off early on, and Oliver Kn. found he couldn’t run properly after stubbing his toe before the game. Our keeper had also injured his ankle. After making very early substitutions and switching Jack back to the middle of the defence, and Kieran C playing out of position in centre midfield we soon settled.

Once again FC rangers put in a spirited display but we never seemed to get any breaks when competing for the ball. The team kept their shape very well for the majority of the game and once again finished strongly. Some improved performances from a number of individuals was good to see and contributed to us always being in the game. A good goal was scored by Kieran C after some fine work by James and Connor, and Kieran was also unlucky to be pulled up for offside after rounding the keeper in what was a very close offside decision.
