Adam made the breakthrough into senior football in the 1996/97 season, at the age of seventeen, when he joined Malvern Athletic of The Soccersite Malvern League.
After two seasons at Athletic Adam made the switch to Worcester & District Football League Division 2 side Worcester Corinthians, with whom he also spent two seasons.
The end of the 1999/00 marked the end of his connection with the 11-a-side game (Until he joined Powick that is).
After a four year absence Adam rejoined Malvern Athletic, opting for the faster 5-a-side game, to compete in The Worcester 5-A-Side Winter/Spring League (2003/04) and Spring/Summer League (2004), achieving two League Championship and Cup Runner-Up honours.
Joining Powick FC Reserves marked the end of another short break from the game and his return to the 11-a-side game.
Playing at Centre Half, Adam, one of the squads more vocal members, leads by example in taking control of Powick's back line and has been made joint Vice-Captain.
Strong in the air and composed with the ball at his feet, Adam has become a fixture at the heart of the Powick defence
