Nice 2-0 win today and through to the Semi Finals. Very harsh on the boys who came off.  Could have been 6 or 7 nil on another day. Their keeper had a very good game. M.O.M - Harry. Everybody played well, Liam again very solid and confident.  ALTHOUGH - Much to practice on Tuesday. Passing very sloppy in last 15 Mins and too much bunching

Despite a defeat against Malsters..Much better effort from all players. Jack worked well up front, running good angles, staying onside. He scored a good goal from a lovely move with a neat RIGHT foot finish :)  They had a couple of very good strong players that scored a couple of long shot goal.  We had enough chances against one of the best teams in Swansea, a few tired legs at the end if the game allowed them a few late goals.  Their manager was very impressed with how much we had improved..as am I :)   Look forward to seeing you in training

Only a win will do this Saturday..No excuses.  In the 1st 10 minutes of each half against Malsters and GArden Village we had the most chances. Played good football and matched them physically.  Then we allow their better players too much space and get beaten. We easily have a good enough squad now to win the next two league games and have a decent cup run.  If everybody tries 100%.

Ian Mortimer Should have been 10.  Passing still much better in training than on Saturday. Too many players trying to dribble on a muddy pitch. Just pass it simply and run into space.  Simple 1-2's and through balls.  Thought defence and keeper were excellent inc subs. Everybody played well.  Such a shame MOM Cieran didn't score after his triple 1-2s full length of field run.  Nice to Win :)

The first game at 11 a-side the team played well. The first goal  came from a good run by Archie Teace down the wing ending
with a well taken goal. Number two came with a free kick taken
by Archie Teale, Jack Williams had a run down the right wing
 and cross the ball into the boxs for Steffan Mortimer to put away  
 number three and win the game.

Well done U12's..100% effort. Much Much better. We lost 9-0 last week and everybody turned up, great attitude. ( Archie and Jacob missing boots and pads !)

Birchgrove looked confident - That soon changed - We could have been 3 up in first 10 mins, some lovely football in build up. Only one team in it last 10 mins..we were only a couple of miss hit passes from being through on goal. Well Done Kieran with great clearance last minute off line..just as important as a goal ! Corrie had a great 1st half and Liam at last..owned all of his box ! NO TEAM will want to play against us if we play like that ! Ibrahim and Jacob were all over them.

We could/should have won that ! Still not winning the headers in midfield and not clearing our box fast enough!  The passing is coming along nicely,so well done.

MOM - Ibrahim ( the Birchgrove players will be checking under their bed for him tonight :)

Special Mention to Jason - Turns up every week, improving all the time. Dislocates his finger and elbow on Wednesday, pops them back in. Turns up, only comes on for last 7 mins..No complaints, wins the ball lovely pass that leads to Jacks equaliser.  Tremendous commitment

Thought we would get a draw at least on Saturday against a decent team. Thought we defended well but maybe too deep and at the cost of going forward and scoring ourselves. We will work on that in training. Its starting to come together, huge improvement.  Just switched off for a minute and they scored. I would imagine some  difficult team selections ahead for Glen on Saturday as everybody  is giving 100%.  MOM Liam owned the 18 Yard line and was even praised by the opposition Manager :)  A rare feat ! I'm off to Bath on the weekend with Mrs M, good luck on Saturday. If your playing Mumbles, get stuck in and pass quickly. Show them how much you have improved
