The story so far...

Preston Athletic F.C. was formed as a Junior Club in 1945 and remained so until 1994 when the Club were accepted as members of the East of Scotland Senior League.

The Club then applied to the Scottish Football Association for membership, and were accepted as Members in 1995.
In 1997 Rosemount boys club became part of us renaming as Preston Athletic Y.F.C
The Club have been heavily involved in the innovative Community Development project within the Prestonpans community of East Lothian. The Pennypit project was a sports facility development with one of its main objectives being to raise hopes and opportunities through sport in a depressed community.
This has led to establishing a strong youth policy for the club and working with and taking professional advice from the S.F.A. / East Lothian Councils Football Development Officers.
