Priory travelled to Chatteris to play their Cambs & Distirct League Cup Semi Final, a slow start by Priory saw Chatteris on top and during this ten minute period of play they took the lead. This kicked Priory into life, they were soon on level terms when Lee Adams flicked a long Ollie Atkinson goal kick into the path of Ben Gibbins who noticed the keeper was off his line, so he lifted a fine lob shot over the retreating keeper and into the unguarded net. Priory were now beginning to dominate play but the scores remained level until half time.
The second half saw Priory begin to play some great one touch passing and moving football which Chatteris were having trouble dealing with. Tom Baxter played the ball into Tom Newton's path, as the keeper advanced Tom Newton carefully placed and precise shot into the corner of the net giving the keeper no chance. Goal number three soon followed as a Chatteris defender was caught in possession by Ben Gibbins who powered past him and hit a delicate chip shot over the keeper and into the roof of the net. The fourth goal was set up by Bradley Winfield who passed the ball onto Jake Trianell, he sped past the defence and from an acute angle hit his shot nestled in the far corner of the net. It was a magnificent all round perfomance from all the Priory boys.
