Report

The match started off quickly with Ossett having a shot and then Abby shooting wide & Naimh's shot getting saved by the goalkeeper.  Megan, solid in defence as always, kicked through a brilliant pass to Louise, who finished it off better than any Premiership Player 1-0 QCFC.  Abby & Louise kept the pressure on at the Ossett end, with Naimh, again, just missing the target on a couple of occassions. Abby took a break which brought on Ellie, whilst Louise had a couple of corners, one just hitting the side post!  Some really nice long passes from Elle in defence set up Scarlett & Louise - both just narrowly missing.  Half-time score 1-0 to QCFC.

Second half & before the whilstle's stopped blowing Louise has struck & scored 2-0.  Again, more fantastic passing throughout the team saw Louise clinching her hat-trick 3-0. Ossett kept the pressure on though with a couple of shots on target, making sure Bethan stayed in the game! Naimh & Ellie went off with Keira & Millie taking their place in the team. Ossett continued to attack & this eventually paid off with Casey taking a great strike 3-1.  Louise passed through for Keira who narrowly missed out to the goal keeper.  Time for Scarlett & Keira to take a break & let Leah on & Abby back on the field.  Bethan took a great goal kick all the way down the field for Naimh to finish perfectly 4-1. Elle went off allowing Grace to come on keep the Ossett attack at bay.  Abby continued to run all around the pitch, narrowly missing scoring several times & Leah & Millie both had an open goal that everyone thought the goal keeper was having - apart from her!  Another shot from Ossett needed a great kick from Megan to stop it making this a closer game.  But Naimh, Millie, Abby & Scarlett - who just went over the post with a fantastic header, all took shots & kept on the pressure right to the very end.  Final Score 4-1

Brilliant game girls - everyone played their part & a fantastic win to finish off the season.  We even had the sun shining!!!!
