After the club was saved from the brink of folding in 1998/99, Then manager Steve Mandeville and his team managed to stave off relegation from Div 3.
The years that followed saw Randwick promoted after finishing 3rd in Division 3. The following season they were pipped to the Division 2 title in the last couple of matches but managed to secure promotion finishing 2nd.
The first season back in Div 1 saw the team continue their steady climb and they managed to finish 5th.
The following season saw a mass exodus of players and the first team struggled accumulating in relegation back to Div 2.
The last couple years saw a extremley young Randwick side struggle to compete in Div 2, but having saved themselves from relegation twice the team started to show a lot of promise towards the end of the 2004/05 season.
Saw the team continue their progression, under new leader Mark Johnson.
A tight backline, and the goals now being provided by new signings Jon Hill & Rob Lea the team finished a strong 5th in Division 2.
The season started slowly with 2 wins and a draw coming from the first 6 games and first round exits in both County and Charity Cups.
The end of the year saw Randwick regain some form as they went through November and December losing only one game and pushing themsleves into a promotion position.
The new year saw scoring goals become a problem, whilst conceding goals became all to frequent, as the firsts managed to pick up only four points in
the first 5 games of 2007.
The run in saw a mixed bag of results with two fine 6-1 wins over Shipton were undone by heavy defeats by Cashes Green, Matson & Abbeymead to leave Randwick finishing 5th for the second season running.
The end of 2006/07 saw Mark Johnson end his reign as manager after two seasons in charge.
After the installation of Don Mann and a host of new and returning players joining in the summer, Randwicks hopes were high for the first team.
However the early optimism was short lived in September as a 4-0 defeat to Division 1 side in the charity cup was followed by straight league defeats including a 6-2 defeat to local rivals Ebley.
October saw the run continue with Sling Utd dispatching the 1sts in the county cup, and then another humiliation at the hands of Cashes Green with the away side scoring 8.
Don Mann resigned and Paul Fowles took over the reigns following a knee injury which was to curtail his season.
Instantly results picked up Tibberton were beat 5-2, followed by 3 points against Wotton, a draw at Horsley and a thumping 7-0 against Stonehouse.
Mid season saw patchy form and the threat of relegation return, but February saw a return to form as a run of 9 games saw Randwick finish the season unbeaten, highlights the avengence of beating Cashes Green 4-2 on their patch and an important late win against Thornbury.
With games still to go, Randwick had to wait to see if enough was done and confirmation came when Brimscombe lost 3-0 to Ebley and were confirmed as the 2nd relegated side.
