Whilst not quite making the impact hoped during 05/06 season, the thirds did achieve their best ever points total of 21.

Out of the clubs three sides, the 3rds scored more goals (62) than the other two teams, but defensive frailties saw them concede to many (79).

However again the 3rd team production line has again proved fruitful with youngsters Jon Ratcliffe making the step up to the seconds, and Players player and Managers player of the year Joe Curran having a very succesful season.
