Randwick, with a weakened team took on GCS on saturday and came away with a creditable draw against their div 4 opponents.
GCS failed to trouble mick hucknall in the rfc goal and he was well marshalled by terry cotta, playing at right back,the ageless jonnerz coming in alongside the fast ageing russ hopes and with player manager maldinisarge sporting more bandages and supports than a red cross first aid kit the visitors must have been rubbing their hands with confidence. with marmy and scutty tackling for their lives in the middle of the park, often each other mind, and jordi spaghetti legs and grape vines on the flanks causing problems when they looked up!! RFC came closest when ewen frodo was sent clean through only to slice his shot wide from 6 yards...oh those size 16 feet!! should give a mention to young tony(nickname to be finalised) but he did sod all so wont bother!!
