Range Rovers 10 – 2 Vinters

After a turbulent week in the life of Range Rovers under 12’s which saw their manager step down, under 9’s manager & club Chairman Eddy Mcentire took temporary charge & was not disappointed with the attitude & commitment shown by the players in his charge. Rovers had only 9 available players due to illness & they all showed great team spirit.

Perry Hayler helped himself to four goals, Harry Pagett got himself a hat trick, David Wilson & Joe Skinner bagged a goal a piece & an own goal by Vinters rounded off the game for Rovers.

The three man defence of Finlay Vollans, Matthew Chatten & Regan King were outstanding at keeping Vinters at bay. James Scott-Morgan & David Wilson were tenacious in Midfield. Stand in ‘keeper Charlie Rotchell was man of the match for his display in goal. The two consolation goals scored by Vinters did nothing to dampen Rovers spirits!
