In a winner takes all top of the table clash Rovers entertained Larkfield in their final game of the season. A howling gale rather spoilt a game between two good footballing sides. Larkfield had the advantage of the strong wind in the first half and it looked like Rovers were going to turn around only 2-1 down until the last few minutes of the half when Larkfield notched two more quick goals. Rovers first half strike was a poachers goal from Connor Chapman after a Lex Allen free kick had hit the bar. 4-1 at the break was a difficult task but Rovers set about their task well with further goals from Chapman, Tyrell Gebbie and Dan Kew however Larkfield got one back with a deflected effort on the break. Larkfields keeper had a great game and kept out further Rovers efforts and was also able to watch as The colts missed a penalty too. With Rovers well on top the equalising goal just would not come and the clock beat the Rovers boys seeing them valiantly defeated 4 - 5. A great season though and runners up spot in the league.
