RASTRICK - JUNIOR SPORTS CLUB OF THE YEAR

Rastrick Juniors has been awarded Junior Sports Club of the Year 2011 at the Halifax Courier Sports Awards Ceremony which took place at the Halifax Victoria Theatre.

This is a tremendous accolade for our club and fantastic recognition for the hard work of the many volunteers involved.

LATEST CAR PARKING NEWS

The Club is acutely aware of the parking difficulties in the Carr Green area on matchdays and is working with local organisations and authorities to alleviate the problems. Until these problems are resolved please can we ask drivers to be considerate and avoid parking where it will cause an obstruction or where it is illegal e.g. on the pavement (including the school side of Carr Green Lane), blocking residents drives, at junctions etc. THE POLICE HAVE BEEN AND WILL CONTINUE ISSUING FIXED PENALTY NOTICES TO OFFENDERS.

ALTERNATIVE MATCH DAY PARKING

Chapel Croft pedestrian access now re-opened so park in Chapel Croft surgery car park and avoid Carr Green Lane congestion !

BEHAVIOUR

Can we remind all players and spectators that the Club and League will not tolerate bad behaviour on the pitch or on the touchline. Remember that junior football exists to provide enjoyment for all involved regardless of results. WE CANNOT ALL BE WINNERS!!!!!
