What a lovely day to finish the season
.On a bone hard pitch,both teams found it hard to keep the ball under control.Kieron Pearce played his best game of the season,controlling the midfield & stopping any attacks from the home team. it wasn't long before hotshot Ethan Kirk scored a fine goal, then Ben Grainger scored the 2nd goal to give us a 2-0 HT lead.
The home team tried to put us under pressure and only a fine tackle by Ryan Doane stopped them from scoring & Josh Brice took one in the face blocking a disputed free kick.Then Rawmarsh stepped up a gear and further goals from Ethan Kirk 3 and Ben Grainger 3 gave us a comfortable 8-0 win. GAME 2
Brinsworth played a lot better in this half ,the home defence and goalkeeper kept the lively Bradley from scoring .Luke Tates long throws caused loads of problems,but we just couldn't find the back of the net . HT 0-0
Rawmarsh put more pressure on the Brinsworth defence and it wasn't long before Liam Johnson opened the scoring,more long throws from Luke Tate kept the pressure on the Brinsworth defence,A good move from the Green Army resulted in Luke Tate slotting home the 2nd goal.Then Bradley got his shooting boots on to score 4 more goals to earn the man of the match award.
