Smithswood FC 0

A bitter cold day that had a big effect on the game, on a normal day i believe we would of gone into double figures in this match. But well done to all for the grit they showed out on the pitch. Scott in goal only had to make two soft saves all match but did very well on both. The new look defence looked solid all through and made sure nothing got past any of them and where very well organised by Callam. Big Man playing in a new position just in front of the defence played a blinder cutting out most of the Smithswood attacks and scored a screamer with his left foot just outside the box and won the man of the match award for his efforts all through this game. Jamel and George in the middle are starting to form a good partnership now but both had a off day due to the cold and illness. Kyle and James on the wings are inproving with every game they play in and are starting to get some lovely crosses into the box for the forwards. The two Owens up front are starting to understand each other now and should form a good partnership has time goes on, and Danny when playing in the middle comands the area well. WELL DONE everybody again on a very cold day, and best of all you kept a CLEAN SHEET again.
