Many moons ago,
I was aproached by Steve Peters if my youngest boy would like to join a football team that he had been asked to run.
The first season at under 7's in which we played in the south wark's league. We played 20 games winning all 20
Scoring 113 goals and only conceeding 3 of which 1 was an own goal, 1 was when we only had 6 players, and the other was a penalty!!
This catapulted us into the top division, this is where we have stayed.
This is when Steve and myself started Redditch Town F.C.
We have become one of the best 4-5 teams in the whole of the south wark's divisions, consistantly getting to the semi finals of the top cups in the county.
Season 2007/08:- A great season, we got to both semi-finals and came second in the top division.
We also saw two of our players go on to sign for west brom. can i say well done to Jack Hallahan and Jack Smith.
