History of Redfield Rangers

Redfield Rangers were started by two local residents of Redfield in
2004/05 to provide competitive football for the local youths of the
New Deal area.
Start up funds were provided by the Community at Heart who still
provide support today.
The club regular enter the inner city communtiy football festivals, being
winners of the Bristol Unity Cup, Khalsa Heritage Trust and the Bristol Mulsim
Cultrual Cup. In all three events we have also been awarded the fair play award.
It is a testament to the clubs ethos that we play to win but not to the detriment
of fair play and respect for opponents.
This ethos has born fruit, enabling us to attract players from 14 nationalities
over the past two years.
