Simon Stewart continues as Manager for 2008-09. Simon started his career at Sheffield Wednesday FC where he was involved in the FA Youth Cup Final in 1991 and was a member of the Sheffield Wednesday 1993 FA Cup Final and League Cups Final teams. Following a loan spell at Shrewsbury Town Simon joined Fulham at the start of the Mohammed Al Fayed regime. After 2 years and a loan spell at Conference team Woking, Simon retired from the professional game due to a succession of serious injuries. Simon then signed for Kingstonian and won 9 trophies in 3 years which included 2 back to back FA Trophy Finals. After Kingstonian went into administration in 2001, Simon quit football to focus on his professional working life. Previously a Manager at Spalding FC, Simon has now taken over as Manager after being Assistant to Jim Le Masurier for 2 seasons. Assistant Manager for this season is Ben Lord, a former Manager of the club. Ben has played at higher levels for the likes of Rothwell and will bring a wealth of experience combined with continuing to consistently play for the 1st team. Also in the management team is Physio and stalwart John Perry who has been with Higham Town / RHUFC for over 20 years and has had previous managerial responsibilities with the club. Added to this are our goalkeeper coach Nathan Gaunt and Kevin Mander who starts as Head Coach for the forthcoming season.
