Disappointment following merger
Goal Post The first team had a disappointing league season following the merger with Rushden Rangers and the move to Hayden Road. In fact it was only in the last weeks of the season that they moved clear of the relegation places. Tom Woods won the player of the year award whilst the player's player was Michael Freeman.
The team did reach the final of the NFA Junior Cup but had to be content with the runners up medals after losing 2-1 to Rothwell Corinthians.
