Potton took a 21st minute lead with a solo effort by Sam Bonham who intercepted a loose ball and cut inside beating a defender before firing low into the corner.Nick Cooper's curling cross shot from out on the right doubled the visiting advantage after 24 minutes.Faulkner and Cooper both went close to extending the lead but just before the break Dan Walker's goalline clearance denied Weekley a Lankies reply.
