UCL CONSTITUTION OF DIVISIONS 2012-13

Premier Division 2011-12 membership less Daventry United (withdrawn), Kings Lynn Town (promoted to step 4), Northampton Spencer (demoted), Thrapston Town (demoted) plus Huntingdon Town and Bugbrooke St Michaels (promoted from Division One). Division One 2011-12 membership less Huntingdon Town and Bugbrooke St Michaels (promoted to Premier Division) and Rothwell Town (did not seek re-election) plus Northampton Spencer and Thrapston Town (demoted from Premier Division) and AFC Rushden & Diamonds (placed in step 6 by Football Association) Football Association rulings awaited on possible promotion of Harborough Town to Premier Division and application of Harrowby United for Division One. Reserve Division One 2011-12 membership less Kings Lynn Town, Northampton Spencer, Peterborough Northern Star and Wellingborough Town 2004 (all withdrawn) and ON Chenecks (relegated to Reserve Division Two) plus Bugbrooke St Michaels and Harborough Town (promoted from Reserve Division Two). Reserve Division Two 2011-12 membership less Bugbrooke St Michaels and Harborough Town (promoted to Reserve Division One) and Boston Town (withdrawn) plus ON Chenecks (relegated from Reserve Division One) and Yaxley (new application)

Statement on mixed football

Boys and girls able to play in same teams at U12 and U13 level.

The FA is pleased that the resolution to amend its Rules to extend mixed football in the U13 age group received approval from The FA Shareholders at the AGM today (25 May).


The resolution was fully supported by The FA Board, FA Executive and FA Council and the result means that girls and boys will be able to play in the same teams at U12 and U13 level from next season (2011-12).
