Unlucky girls.

Northop are without doubt the best team in the league and you gave them a good hard game today.

First half was tight with very few chances either way and I seem to remember they scored on th e break. 

Early second half the game opened up and was end to end for a while.
Unfortunately Northop took a few of their chances and we were soon 3 behind. We never gave up though and had a lot of pressure in the last 15 minutes with no reward.
In between though we backed off a bit in defence and let them a clear run at goal to score a 4th.

As we have said in training many a time we need to work on our passing. We will be on big pitches next season so running the ball will not always be an option.
Northop have twice now shown us that we need to be more than a strong team we need to be a passing  strong team.
we have one game left this season so it looks like possibly 3rd spot in the league and a semi final in the cup.  Not bad but if we get the other things right we could be up there with the very best teams in the league.

Well done girls you did us and your parents proud on Saturday..
