The club had its very first training session back on 27th April 1997 with brothers Brian & Gary Clair,brother-in-law Ian Wood together with the legendary Jimmy Woods setting the foundation block for the kids of Anfield and Everton areas of Liverpool to play junior football at a grassroot level.
The club has grown over the years and now comprises an Open Age team, containing some of the original players from 1997 and an u18's (West Cheshire Youth division).
A tremendous amount of hard work has gone on over the past couple of years with new chairman John Doyle being at the front end of two lots of successful negotiations with Jacobs and the agreement of first team football at their impressive sports club site on Long Lane and the equally successful alurement of new head coach Jamal Dermott, fighting off big guns like St Helens & Formby to land a massive coup for the club and its players and followers!
