Richmond Vets (over35s) short three year stint in the Zingari Vets Division finally came to an end this week (18th October 2007) after a great three year period which saw them finish as runners-up in the first year, gaining promotion to the first division and in the second season beating Bootle FC in the LCFA Veterans Cup Final by 1-0, whilst finishing a creditable 4th place in what transpired to be their final season.
Many thanks go to Billy Scott (and Mrs Scott) for their most valued dedication to the club over that period together with all the players who pulled on a Richmond shirt.
We wish you all the success in the future and hope one day to maybe start an over 40s side in a couple of years!
So don't throw your boots away just yet...
