2008 Changed name to RRR Jacobs FC

RRR Jacobs has grown with the players and can now boast the fact that their club has evolved from a junior u11's team in 1997 through to an "open age" side in 2007 with a number of the players performing in every season since its formation.
Last season, 2007-08, saw for the first time the club becoming involved with an open age group and did, not only themselves but, the club proud by finishing in 4th place in the division and reaching the final of the West Cheshire Shield.
This season, the club are looking to build on last year's highly successful first ever venture into Open-Age football and hopefully finish higher than theiir 4th place position last season.
The new managerial Coup of Jamal Dermott being enticed back into the hot seat together with the new lucrative venue at Long Lane, they believe they have a fantastic chance of progressing their club into a "great club", and one which players will be wanting to play for.
The Management have made great strides throughout the Summer period hammering out an exciting new prospect with a massive company in the heart of Liverpool, gaining a ground on "this side of the water" at JACOBS factory - Long Lane. This will help us WIN important matches!
Supporters and visitors are welcome to the new surroundings as long as they behave themselves and adhere to the companies strict Health and Safety policies.
The club name and colours have changed from the traditional blue to a new ADIDAS ORANGE and BLACK strip which wont actually be available from ADIDAS in Germany until the end of September.
The other exciting new package is the www.clubwebsite deal with Lucozade which RRR Jacobs have been chosen to be apart of along with 79 other grassroots football sides across the country.

The Lucozade Sport Performance League (LSPL) gives 80 amateur 11-a-side teams the professional treatment with a Premier League club-style sponsorship package and expert support throughout the 08/09 season.

Teams compete against each other in an exciting virtual league using the performances from their own amateur fixtures to determine their position in this online championship.

What do LSPL teams win?
