ABOUT THE CLUB

Welcome to Rippingale & Folkingham JFC

RRJFC Summer Tournament

Rippingale Rovers JFC Summer tournament passed by as a roaring success with dozens of teams from all over the Peterborough/Lincoln area attending during a glorious summer weekend. (Albeit for the mild hurricane which struck at lunchtime on Saturday!)

Rippingale's U11s took the title in a tough section after penalty shoot-outs in the semis and the final, but the U13s lost out in the semi-finals on penalties and Wittering went on to win the event.
On Sunday, we ran a non-competitive event for the U8s for the first time, with all teams getting a participation medal, and this was well supported with excellent effort by all sides.
The U10s played Sunday afternoon and a very high standard of football saw Ermine beat Malbourne on penalties in the final.
The Chairman would like to thank all of the players and parents for making the event so successful and his fantastic team of helpers, referees and medics for their hard work.
One highlight of the weekend was the fantastic speed ball competition run by the Sheffield Wednesday womens team which proved popular with all of the boys and many parents too. thanks to all of the team for giving up their time to come along. The competition was won by Rippingale U15 player and referee John Hudson.
