We changed the team around a bit with 6 players playing in different positions today.Deerness were third bottom and needed a win(if 3 instead of 5 are to be relegated)and they started a lot better than us.Even though we were kicking down the considerable slope we were 0-2 down within 5 minutes.We were like statues in the mud!
We then woke up a little and were awarded a dubious penalty which Robbie put away.Further goals from Ethan,Adam and Max had us 4-3 up at the break.
I actually thought we would be better second half playing up the hill,how wrong was I!!.They chucked up 4 forwards and we stopped winning anything twenty yards upwards of our defence.Deerness were then awarded a dubious penalty of their own which they levelled from.  
Quite a few heads dropped then which was very disappointing to see.We then did something which we havent all season,let in a bagful of goals.8-4.
Daniel made it 5-8 on the whistle and that was the season done.A disappointing result to finish on but the second half of the season has been very bright.13 games-7 wins,4 draws and only the 2 defeats.Something to build on for next season.
