Robersbridge United FC...a brief history.

The football club was originally formed in 1896 and has enjoyed great success over past seasons, up until the Floods of 2000 which decimated much of the village including the recreation ground and its facilities, resulting in the club being unable to complete its league fixtures.
After a two year abscence, a new comitee was established, and the club was re-formed. After a struggle in the early times, a strong side has now been assembled by the Manager (Keith Stone) with a core of young players from the village.
