The Week Ahead
Romulus are on the road twice in the coming week with fixtures against Leighton Town and Rothwell Town.
The Roms do not have fond memories of Leighton Buzzard after they were beaten 3:0 in this fixture last season on a miserable afternoon. That game made it mathematically impossible for the Roms to sneak into the Midland Division play-offs. The players and staff will be out to make ammends on Saturday and continue their good run of form although Leighton, who currently sit in 4th position in the league table, will provide the Roms with one of their stiffest tests to date.
For those making the journey to Leighton the address is;

Leave the M1 at Junction 15 take the A508 towards Milton Keynes. After 9 miles you will reach the A5 roundabout , take the 1st exit and travel about 8 miles to the roundabout at the end of the dual carriageway. Take the 2nd exit , follow the A5 towards Dunstable. After about 3 miles you will arrive at another roundabout (Flying Fox pub on your left) take the 3rd exit towards Heath & Reach and Leighton Buzzard.
Follow this road for about 4 miles until you arrive at a large roundabout in Leighton Buzzard then take the 1st exit.
At the next roundabout take the second exit, you will then go through 2 sets of lights, the ground and car park is on the right immediately after the lights and opposite the Petrol station.
Arriving by train
Leighton Buzzard is situated on the London Euston - Watford - Milton Keynes - Northampton line, but the station is actually in Linslade and about a 20 minute walk from the ground. From the station entrance go to the top of Station Road and bear right onto New Road. Turn left at the bottom of New Road and you will come to a major junction with traffic lights. Turn right towards Leighton Buzzard. Cross over the canal then turn right into Bridge Street for the High Street. At the bottom of the High Street bear right onto Lake Street which becomes a main road. Pass The Sun pub and the entrance to the ground is on your right.
Meanwhile on Tuesday night Romulus make the relatively short trip to Northamptonshire to take on Rothwell. The fixture last season ended all square as 'The Bones' scored an equaliser in the 6th minute of stoppage time. While Rothwell have struggled in the league this season, currently sitting in 18th position, they have shown themselves to be more than capable of getting results as a recent win against Barton Rovers and draw with Sutton Coldfield Town proves.
