Danny first started his involvement with Rossendale Valley JFC as Mike Taylor’s assistant. After a year of working together (season 2006/2007), it was decided to split the players into 2 separate teams, Blues and Oranges.

Danny took over the running of the Blue team during the summer of 2007 and quickly established his team of players.

During there first season together they had there ups and downs and finished the season mid table. But, only in a few short months, a strong team spirit had developed.

Kevin Jelley joined Danny in the summer of 2008 as his assistant and helped jell the players as a team.

The team’s greatest achievement to date was winning the 2008 summer tournament fair play trophy at Barrowford. The team JUST, missed out by a single goal of going through to the semi-finale.

Danny is now very optimistic for the season (2008/2209) ahead.
