This was one of the wasp’s best performances of the season. They dominated the game from start to finish. They had countless chances of putting this game out of greyhounds reach but the ball just never seemed to fall right for them. Unlike Greyhound who converted each of the few chances they had.

The whole team played out of there skin and Charlie Howard (captain for the day & man of the match) controlled the midfield pushing forward at all times and causing greyhound many problems. To add to his man of the match award Charlie also scored two cracking goals, one of which was from outside the penalty box and at a very tight angle. Dominic Grcar and Ryan Murphy were very strong in defense and Dominic was very unlucky not to score when he was put up front in the second half. Aiden Keating & Tom Collinson also had very good performances in midfield both pushing forward and helping out in defense.

And credit must go to Lewis Jelley (who was the stand in goal keeper for the day) for pulling off some great saves.

It was good to see the wasps playing like this after a few bad results and long may it continue.
