With a second season to look forward to the manager decided to take up a new challenge by enetering the team in the north Bury Junior football league for the 2009 - 2010 season.

The under 9`s Green team was formed in May 2008 because the club had several players over the allotted number of registrated players for the coming season. We had several new players fromthe neighbouring town of Ramsbottom wanting to play football for RVJFC. Damien offered to take up the role of manager.
Good luck in their very first season in the Accrington & Ditrict JFL.
