When the 2006/07 U7's squad's recruitment drive led to number's exceeding 20, the team was divided for the coming season into 2 teams. The nwly formed teams played their first competitive matches in the BUrton YFC and Rossgarth YFC tournaments of 2007.
On the 2nd of September 2007, the team played its first league match.
The away game against Broadstone took place while some of the squad were still return from holiday's, so a depleted team of 6, fought hard valianyly, but could not avoid a 6-0 defeat.
After a number of great perfromances in previous weeks, February 17 2008 saw the team achieve its first league victory. On a cold and very windy day, the team defended determinedly and full deserved their narrown 1-0 victory over Poole Town Youth. The result also provided the team's first clean sheet.
