Sport Relief is coming to Ross-on-Wye in 2012.

As one of the country’s biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives.

All the money raised by the public is spent by Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives, both at home in the and across the world's poorest countries.

Sport Relief 2012 is on its way… taking place over the weekend of 23/25 March…

With over a million people expected to join in the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile, there's no better way to take part in the country's biggest year of sport and help to change lives too.

And sports clubs in Ross are taking the lead to support this great cause by hosting the Ross-on-Wye Mile for Sport Relief on Sunday 25th March at Ross Sports Centre. Volunteers from Ross Cricket Club, Ross Juniors FC and Ross United FC are all encouraging their members and families to take part….

So…. pull your (Sport Relief) socks up and book your place in the Ross-on-Wye Mile!

Join hundreds of like minded people around the country who will be supporting this great cause – either by yourself, with friends or as a family.

There are three distances to choose from: 1, 3 or 6 miles.

There's no pressure to raise any extra monies - your entrance fee (online entry) goes directly to Sport Relief.

We are also looking for volunteers to act as marshalls along the route, help with security, bag drop, registration and refreshments...
