Report

Well that is the end of a long hard season. The boys played some good football today and were perhaps a little unlucky when a few key decisions early in the game did not go our way.


Both sides created some half chances early on and we perhaps should have had a penalty when Daniel was tackled in the box. Unfortunately they then scored two quick goals and we were on the back foot. We did however continue to battle and used the width of the pitch to create some good chances. Eventually good chasing down by Razza saw him just beat the keeper to the ball to score. HT 2-1.


Second half again we created chances to equalise but just could not force it in. Sparrows again caught us twice on the o make it 4-1. Good work from Daniel played in Sam who ran at and committed the keeper and then chipped it past him to score superbly. 4-2.


Final score 6-2.


MOTM goes to Aiden playing at centre half who alongside Sean read the game well and put in some well timed strong challenges.
