Rejection is a strong word to use in kids football, but for this team it happend twice in two years. At the end of the u10 season the lads were released from Rubery and took in by Racing Blythe, and at the end of the u11 season they were unceremoniosly dumped again. The reason for this was not behavior or lack of players, but people believing they were not good enough. I took them back to Rubery because I wanted them back were they belong, represented by a manager who believed in them, someone who wanted kids to play football without the pressures of success, and the chance to show everybody just how good they could be with a little belief. 18 months later and they have so far proven that they can be a Rubery team to be proud of (well I am).
