TEAM HISTORY
from girls to young ladies! (26/02/08)

ok so where do i start. we started of as rubery's local rivals callowbrook swifts at under 14's level in the central warwickshire girls league after the 1st season we had to split into 2 teams u14's and u16's due to the gaps in girls football. in our 3rd season we reunited back as one team at u16 level and had our most sucessfull season. then at the time management of mary and martin decided to call it a day and myself mark was asked to take on the team in the competative league of open age football, this is when we moved over to rubery f.c. our 1st season was very tough as the girls was competing against women of all ages and teams such as coventry etc. 2nd season was more enjoyable and we finished a respectfull 5th in the league. at this presant time it has upon till now been the most successfull season boasing an unbeaten run in 2008, 2nd top goalscorers in the league, with the 2nd best goal difference and sitting 3rd in the league and playing the best football ive seen in 5-6 years at the club.
