the history of ryde united

it all started when a certain leon hull came to bishop lovet school to do a talk on who would like 2 join his new club 'ryde united cfc'.

at first it was a big club with alot of youngsters wanting to join. rsults didnt alays go their way and it lead to a lot af managers not wanting to manage them.

the remaining players thats stayed were keiron annis,stevenm miles(peewee) and allen morris. for 4 year, they were left with no team to play with so they trained with the under 13's until a bunch of friends from school decided that they wanted to play with a team and decided 2 join.

at first they thought the team were gonna win the league...how wrong they were. ryde united didnt make the best of starts losing 11-1 to bishops waltham and losing 16-0 to division 1 winners s&d youth in the league cup.

thats when jamie McInnes, brother of player alex, came into the managers role and brought new training mehthods in and brought new players in.

ryde improved but still finished the season 10th out of 11th with 8 points with a last game of season win against littleton which ended 8-0 to bring hope for the next season.
