The Club was formed orginally as Winchelsea Beach FC in 1996.
It started with one team at under 9s. The Club achieved the FA Charter Mark standard in 2002.
The club then changed its name in 2004 to Rye Bay FC to incorporate the geography and local area its teams and players represent.
