The Sweet Shop in Saffron Walden is owned and run by Claire and Stephen with help from daughter Amy.

The shop was our dream since a holiday in Cornwall several years ago when we came across an old fashioned sweet shop like the ones we always remembered. That shop started us reminiscing.......

When we were growing up in Saffron Walden, we loved going to Mrs Housden's sweet shop in Borough Lane, on the way to school and on the way back, and hot summer holidays that lasted forever! Then on Saturdays, we'd take our pocket money to Dobsons in King Street and do the same thing - if you remember buying sweets from these old sweet shops then you're as old as we are and probably have similar memories!

So here we are - The Sweet Shop at 1 George Street, Saffron Walden.
