Sale had a sluggish start to the game but went into the lead with Tom scoring an excellent goal. Both Jordan's were busy in the first half and after 30mins Jordan G came closest missing by cms. St John's scored twice in the first half, both soft goals, and went in leading 2-1. Cal, who had played bravely through the pain barrier in the first half was unable to continue and Mattie T returned despite having a bad case of man flu! The game was end to end stuff and in the second half sub Jake, welcomed back after months of absence, shot well at goal and came close a few times. Chris also worked hard and had some good efforts. Aaron kept us in the game with some brilliant saves but eventually St John's scored a 3rd and heads dropped. A quiet game from Sale, advice from the coach and physio - get some breakfast down you lads before the game!! We hope for a more positive performance and result next Sunday.
