On a cold damp autumn morning Sale United took on Oswald Road at Crossford Bridge. It was Oswald Road who were fastist out of the blocks and they forced an early corner and also had a chance to take an early lead. It took Sale a while to get into their stride and just as they were getting a foothold into the game Oswald Road took a deserved lead. So the score at the first interval was 1-0 in favour of the visitors.

After fueling up at the break on numerous jaffa cakes Sale came out in the second period showing a lot more purpose and it was,nt long before the equaliser came , Daniel finishing a fine move. Sale were now well on top and it was only a matter of time before they scored again, this time Jacob rifling into the top of the net from 10 yards , to keep his impressive scoring run going. The rest of the second period produced no more goals and Sale went into the break 2-1 to the Good.

Five minutes into the third period Sale were knocked out of their stride when Oswald Road snatched the equaliser, but credit to Sale their heads didnt drop and they pushed on for the winner.In the 39th minute that sought after winner came , with Tom who had a great game throughout slotted the ball past the keeper.

Overall this was a good team display with all players contributing but a special mention to Daniel who was man of match ,Cameron & Finley who were superb at the back, Jack ,Will ,Jacob and Tom who ran their socks off all match and Josh whose handling was first class.
