About us

We have been established since March 2002 and our staff have over 40 years combined experience. So what?

It’s common for agents to talk about their ‘experience’, how long they have been in business, how they have a history in property. After all, there is something reassuring, especially where property is concerned, about the fact that we may have been doing it for a long time, that we have ‘experience’.

Unfortunately, reality does not bear this out. Estate Agents, including Letting Agents, continue to be amongst the least respected professions in the Country. Experience should provide knowledge, after that, its how you use it, your ability, and your attitude to how you perform that counts.

If doing something for a long time was all that counted, then athletes would be in their sixties. Bobby Charlton would still be playing for England and Tesco would look like it did 30 years ago. Unfortunately many of today’s Agencies do look and behave like they did in the last century.

So we are about being different, being contemporary, but more importantly being ahead of the game and with what customers want. At the end of the day we have a shop. We are ‘retailers’ and all retail environments are changing and improving fast. Customer expectation is increasing and they expect us to move forward to provide what they want. This is clearly not what they have been provided with, in the past.

But for the moment back to ‘us’. We are an Independent, dedicated to Lettings and Management only, Company. Owned by Chris Fisk (MNAEA) and his Wife Helen. Chris has been M.D. of the Company since its incorporation in March 2002, and as is qualifications suggest, is a Member of the National Association of Estate Agents.

Together, the staff have over 40 years experience in Estate Agency, Lettings and Property Management. All of the team share a passion to provide an outstanding and unbeatable level of service to our customers. Most of all, we are looking to change and improve customer’s experience and expectation of Letting Agents for ever.

At 10 The Downs, we have arguably the most visible location with the highest footfall, in the heart of ‘Estate Agents Row’. The NAEA ensure regulated business practices including up to date knowledge of the Law relating to Landlord and Tenant; also correct accounting procedure and handling of client monies; Clients Money Protection Scheme (clients money held in a bonded account) and the holding of Professional Indemnity Insurance.

NALS are concerned with service standards and are supported amongst others by ARLA, NAEA, RICS and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. Ask us for their leaflets in order to see for yourself the service standards we are required to achieve and maintain.
