Directions
Chilton Fields is in Chilton Way behind what was Stow Lodge and more recently where the Ambulance Station is situated. It is also the same venue as the Rugby Club.
If you are coming from Bury St Edmunds turn off at the first Stowmarket turn off which is the slip road next to the Stowmarket dump. At the roundabout at the bottom of the slip road Stowmarket Town Football Club will be on your left but you want to take the second exit on the roundabout as if you are heading back to Bury St Edmunds. Take the slip road on your left into the Laurence Homes estate and follow the road to the top of the hill. Chilton Fields will be on your right.
From Ipswich turn off the A14 at the Stowmarket turn off and at the bottom of the slip road take the first exit left at the roundabout. This leads you towards the Tesco roundabout. Go over that and straight down the hill over the railway line. Keep in the right land and at the traffic lights at the bottom of the hill turn right.
Follow the road to the next (ICI) roundabout and take the third exit and take the relief road through the town. At the main traffic lights (VW Barnards on your right) carry straight over and continue over the next roundabout. You will pass Stowmarket Caravans, Stowe Vets and Stowmarket Football Club all on your right hand side.
At the roundabout after Stowmarket Town Football Club go straight over as if you are heading towards Bury St Edmunds. Take the slip road on your left into the Laurence Homes estate and follow the road to the top of the hill. Chilton Fields will be on your right.
