Trimdon 1 -4 Saxon

Saxon continued in the friendly where they left off with Kieran Jones and Jack Scott stopping any Trimdon attacks and then Kieran Jones took a quick free kick and found Reilly Duncan and his first touch found Justin King who made no mistake from the edge of the box. Trimdon continued to go forward and their star player was well shackled by the tackling of Josh McKay and when they did get past Mathew Wilson and Kieran Jones they could not get the ball past Josh Dack who was in fine form making his first start in goal, pulling off two or three good saves from the Trimdon forward.

HT 1-0 Saxon

Saxon took over in the second half and scored at regular intervals with Ethan Maxwell forcing his way through and made no mistake beating the keeper from inside the box. Then it was the Justin King show with him finding loads of space and had numerous efforts on goal and made it 3-0 half way through the second half. From the kick off Saxon picked the ball up easily and as the ball broke free Declan Sutton fired the ball forward and the bounce deceived the Trimdon goalkeeper to make it 4-0. After this Saxon could have had two or three more with Dylan Tindale missing from close range and just when Josh Dack thought he was going to get a clean sheet the ball hit the top of a defender and looped over him and made the final score 4-1 to Saxon.
