History of Saxon juniors

Saxon Juniors came into existance in Summer 2009 with an under 16's team which had formerly been known as King Oswy Diamonds under the management of Bob Grazier. Unfortunately Bob could no longer commit to running the team and the then chairman Darren Hann decided to take over running the team who brought in Paul Ingram to help with coaching and managing the team.

Our first season was mixed in terms of results however, the discipline and commitment of the players was exemplary and we managed a full season without any cautions / cards.

Both the players and the management enjoyed the season so much we decided to carry on into under 18's for 2010/11 season. We also decided at this time to venture into younger aged teams resulting the recruitment of Stevie Leighton under 7 manager and Paul Ingram to manage the under 8's team along with James Hann as coach.
