well where do i start with this eppic battle, this was by far elites hardest opponents of the season yet and this game was the most most enjoyable for all players involved and the spectators!!

first half elite bombarded dayone with lots of chances and should of been more then 1-0 up at half time with a goal from marcus bowers from close range, start of second a different story as dayone put the pressure on us and scored 2 quick goals to make it 2-1.we then equalised with 20 to go when we threw bodies in the box and caused there cb to head into his own net.with about 15 to go dayone then scored from another set piece,the game then look dead and buried but with 5 to go a freekick was pinged in for juddy to flick back across goal at back post for joe dimmock to score a scissor kick top corner.
1st half of extra time and day one once again scored from a set piece to make it 4-3, within minutes lee wilson found some space and hit a 30 yard screamer bar and in to level it ( only he will know if it was a cross or not).
2nd half of extra time with 5 to go and penalties looking upon us, marcus bowers spotted dimmocks run and played a through ball, dimmock hit it first tme on the volley into the bottom corner to take the lead 5-4, then with 2 mins to go when dayone where pushing men forward. on the counter attack dimmock picked the ball up on the edge of there box and spotted marcus unmarkered so slipped him in, marcus took it round the keeper and then beat the last defender on the line to poke home his second. signed sealed dilevered 6-4......

the positives were sceptre elite showed great character today in coming back into the game after dayone took the lead 3 different times.
the negatives is that we have got to sort out defending set pieces as all 4 of there goals came from set pieces!

well done to everyone today for not giving up the fight and for not dropping our heads once!!!!
