Report

It was the Tiger Cubs that kicked the game off and they were playin some good football untill the Dads hit them with a lucky break and scored against the run of play. They went on to score another shortly after. This gave the Dads the boost they needed and they were looking well in there new tight fit shirts. At this point the Dads were on top but the Tiger Cubs heads didnt go down and they were working hard. They were rewarded for this with a great goal from Ben. This gave the Tiger Cubs a little bit more confidence which meant they were playing good football again and they were making the Dads chase the ball a lot. It was coming towards the end of the first half and the Dads were looking very tired and the Tiger Cubs scored again from a goalmouth scramble. It was 2-2 at half time however with Dylan and Will looking very lively up front the Tiger Cubs could have been in the lead comfortably if it wasnt for a number of good saves from the keeper.

With the second half under way the Tiger Cubs picked up were they left off with Kenny, Ashton and Jak bossing the midfield. They continued to stay on top and took the lead with a fantastic 40 yard strike from Tyler that flew past the keeper. This woke the Dads up and they improved massively. They were slowly breaking the Tiger Cubs defence down with some good passing and they made it 3-3 with a header from which the Tiger Cubs centre half was fouled but some how the ref missed it. The Dads were now looking well and scored to put them in the lead with 10 minutes left. The Tiger Cubs hit straight back with a goal of the own making it 4-4. the last few minutes was end to end but Sukhraj, Jack and Archie were very strong in defence and werent going to be beaten. Gav then crossed a ball in to the box for the Tiger Cubs that some how found its way in to the back of the net but was disallowed because of a career ending tackle from Dave on the keeper.

Some how the game ended 4-4 but the Tiger Cubs were the better team. It went to penalties and with the Dads only scoring 3 of theres it was easy for the Tiger Cubs. They showed the Dads how its done by scoring almost all of there penalties.
