Seaton made the short journey to Norton for this re-arranged league cup fixture having not played a competetive match for nearly 3 weeks.
In the opening minutes of the game it was obvious Norton were a well organised and it must be said a very talented side and they were putting Seaton under a lot of pressure only for some last ditch defending keeping them out. However it was only a matter of when and not if Norton would score and they duly obliged rattling in 6 goals in the first half.
The second half saw Seaton create a few golden chances to score but although their keeper had been merely a spectator all game he pulled off some excellent saves to deny Seaton from scoring.Norton went on to score 5 more in the second half but a lot of credit must go to the Seaton players who although they were well and truly beaten never stopped running and played their hearts out all game. A special mention must go to both sets of players and supporters who conducted themselves admiraly throughout the entire match.
On a final note i would just like to wish Phil, Chris and their players the best of luck in their quest for cup glory.
